Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Python Developer to join the TECLION AI Competence Center within the Hessian Tax Administration, focusing on the development and integration of modern AI solutions to enhance efficiency and transparency in public administration. Day-to-day tasks involve developing robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications, particularly in collaboration with Data Scientists to build AI applications. Key responsibilities include implementing interfaces for Python applications as microservices, containerization, managing job scheduling and load balancing for AI functionalities, and ensuring continuous performance optimization and maintenance of modules. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, is proficient in Python and software development best practices (including unit testing), and has experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab.
