Job Summary
As a (Senior) Data Analysis Specialist at Commerzbank, you will play a pivotal role in the Loan-Loss Provisioning and Non-Performing Loan team. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing credit risk data within the bank's risk databases, performing portfolio evaluations, and conducting sensitivity calculations for stress and simulation scenarios. You will be responsible for advancing internal processes using tools like SAS, Python, R, or SQL to ensure accurate IFRS 9 model results. Acting as a bridge between specialist departments and IT clusters, you will oversee the implementation of risk-related IT projects. This role is highly visible, as you will present findings to senior management and provide critical data for external reporting, auditors, and regulators. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in database evaluation and data analysis
- Practical experience in modeling, validation, or auditing of credit risk parameters
- Proven track record in script-based data analysis using SQL, SAS, Python, or R
- Experience in managing interfaces between business departments and IT implementation teams
- Professional experience presenting complex analytical results to management
