Job Summary
As the Chief Responsible Electrical Specialist (OvEFK) at Siemens Healthineers, you will take on a high-level leadership and compliance role within the Diagnostic Imaging division. You will be legally responsible for the electrotechnical organization across manufacturing and R&D for Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, and X-ray product lines. Your day-to-day involves ensuring a legally compliant electrical organization in accordance with DIN VDE 1000-10, providing technical leadership to subordinate electrical specialists, and overseeing the qualification and training of the team. You will coordinate maintenance intervals, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate closely with occupational safety and EHS teams to prevent electrical accidents. This role is unique as it combines deep technical expertise with executive-level legal responsibility in a world-leading medical technology environment, offering the chance to shape safety standards for life-saving diagnostic equipment. The position requires a presence at the Erlangen and Forchheim sites, providing a dynamic work environment with significant professional impact.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed vocational training with Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician certification according to DIN VDE 1000-10.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in an electrotechnical environment
- Extensive experience as a Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEFK)
- Proven experience in testing electrical systems for safety compliance
- Demonstrated experience in staff training and technical leadership
- Deep knowledge of electrotechnical regulations, laws, and technical standards

Additional
- Regular travel and physical presence required at the Erlangen (MR) and Forchheim (CT, XP) sites; mobile work available only in exceptional cases.
