Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing the Culture and Sports Department for the City of Rödermark, managing approximately 30 employees across four specialized services: the Culture Hall, Public Bathhouse, Technical Services, and Culture, Sports, and Associations. As the Department Head, you will be responsible for the strategic, organizational, and financial management of these units, including full budget responsibility. Your day-to-day work will focus on optimizing administrative processes through digitalization, fostering a collaborative team environment, and advising city committees and the magistrate. You will act as a key representative for the city in various networks and public forums. This position is ideal for a management professional who enjoys balancing administrative excellence with the dynamic needs of public cultural and sporting life. Required Skills

Education

University degree (at least Bachelor or Diploma from a University of Applied Sciences) in Public Administration, Cultural Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
