Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive IT support and systems administration for the Chamber of Agriculture of Lower Saxony in Hannover. As an IT Systems Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for Level 1 hardware and software support, managing data migrations, and monitoring system performance. Your daily tasks include maintaining virtual machines (VMware), installing software, and overseeing server room components. A unique aspect of this position is the responsibility for conference room technology and acting as an interface between building management systems and the IT network. The role offers a secure public service contract with flexible working hours, home office options, and a collaborative team environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Integration Specialist (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable degree in Information Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT systems integration or a related information technology field
- Experience in user support and hardware/software troubleshooting
- Practical knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware
- Experience in managing Microsoft operating systems and server components
- Experience collaborating in IT projects and technical documentation

Additional
- Valid Class B (or Class 3) driver's license required for occasional travel (primarily Southern Lower Saxony). Must be available to work at the Hannover/Ahlem location. Position is initially limited to a two-year fixed-term contract with intended permanent extension.
