Job Summary
As a Technical Lead for the Aeronautics sector in Hamburg, you will spearhead a specialized team of PLC programmers and automation technicians. Your daily responsibilities involve a blend of leadership and hands-on technical execution, including the design of control concepts, programming Siemens TIA-Portal and SIMATIC S7 systems, and configuring HMI visualizations. You will be responsible for task prioritization, mentoring staff, and ensuring project goals are met. A significant portion of the role involves commissioning drive systems and components on-site, primarily in Hamburg, where you will conduct functional tests, safety compliance checks, and performance optimizations. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a certified Technician qualification in a comparable field.
Experience
- 5-6 years of professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology
- Professional experience in plant engineering (Anlagenbau)
- Proven experience with Siemens PLC and visualization systems
- Initial leadership experience in managing automation technicians is desirable
- Experience in the parameterization and integration of drive systems
