Job Summary

As a Real-Time Simulation System Engineer supporting Siemens Energy through FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of real-time simulators used in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). Your daily activities include planning, setting up, commissioning, and documenting simulators, as well as conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). You will play a critical role in technical project execution, collaborating with test teams to develop documentation and supporting the sales phase through conceptual clarifications and proposal preparation. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in power converters, high-voltage technology, or digital simulation.
  • Experience in control or automation technology, ideally within HVDC or FACTS environments.
  • Practical experience in the configuration and operation of project-specific real-time simulators.
  • Experience in technical project handling, including factory testing and on-site commissioning.
