Job Summary

The Head of the Data Center will lead the planning, design, and implementation of a newly established central unit at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology. This leadership role involves managing a team of five staff members to support researchers in collecting, integrating, and analyzing diverse datasets across disciplines like geography, archaeology, and climatology. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing management workflows, maintaining databases, and collaborating with Department Directors to ensure data availability and security.
