Job Summary
As a Control Systems and SCADA Engineer, you will take technical responsibility for the design, planning, and implementation of SCADA systems within large-scale battery storage facilities and substations. Your daily activities will involve developing functional and communication concepts using protocols such as IEC 61850 and Modbus, ensuring seamless integration with higher-level control rooms. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these systems, from creating technical specifications for procurement to conducting independent system tests and commissioning. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with internal departments and external subcontractors to ensure system functionality and performance. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the project engineering and commissioning of SCADA systems
- Professional experience preferred in the field of energy plants/power systems
- Experience in creating functional and communication concepts for control and protection technology
- Experience in supplier technical evaluation and requirement specification (Lastenheft)
