Job Summary

As the Head of Facility Management at the Deutsches Museum, you will oversee the entire building operations for various heritage-protected properties. You will lead a team of 20 employees and manage external service providers to ensure the technical, infrastructure, and commercial integrity of the museum's facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include budget management, strategic planning for maintenance and renovations, and the implementation of modern energy management systems. This role is unique as it requires a contemporary interpretation of facility management within a prestigious cultural institution. You will act as the primary point of contact for all operational concerns, ensuring the museum maintains a high-quality appearance both internally and externally.
