Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing the residual operations of a research reactor facility during its decommissioning and dismantling phase in Geesthacht. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating operational regulations, official requirements, and technical standards while managing a specialized team. Day-to-day activities include evaluating operational incidents, planning maintenance for residual systems, and ensuring the technical documentation accurately reflects the progress of the dismantling process. A key part of the role involves representing the department before authorities and experts, as well as managing emergency on-call rotations.
