Job Summary
This role at the Siegen-Wittgenstein District Police Authority combines strategic information security management with hands-on IT service support. As the Information Security Officer, you will shape the agency's security processes, acting as a central point of contact for product managers and department heads. Your daily responsibilities include developing security guidelines, creating emergency contingency plans, and conducting annual audits in collaboration with the LZPD. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information or Communication Technology, or a vocational IT qualification with advanced certification (Operative Professional, Master Craftsman, or State-Certified Technician).
Experience
- 3 years of relevant professional experience if holding a Bachelor's degree in Information/Communication Technology or equivalent.
- 3 years of relevant professional experience if holding a vocational IT qualification plus 'Operative Professional', Master Craftsman, or State-Certified Technician certification.
- 6 years of relevant professional experience in Information and Communication Technology if applying with a standard relevant vocational qualification.
- Professional experience in managing agency-wide IT facilities and networks.
