Job Summary
This role is situated within the Audit Office of the State Capital of Hanover, reporting directly to the City Council. As a key member of the administrative team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and further development of an office-wide Quality Management System (QMS). Your duties include creating and updating QM documentation, managing process descriptions, and overseeing quality-related reporting. Beyond quality management, you will handle personnel and organizational matters, provide administrative support to the office management, and manage budget planning and monitoring using SAP-based financial systems. Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of the 'Angestelltenlehrgang II', or eligibility for the second career group (first entry level) in General Services, or a university degree (Bachelor/Diploma) preferably in Public Administration, Administrative Science, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or a related field
- Experience in quality management or organizational development is preferred
- At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in personnel or budget administration required for candidates with lower-level administrative qualifications
- Experience with SAP-supported financial and reporting systems
- Proven experience in independent, structured, and responsible project or administrative work

- The position is initially fixed-term until the completion of the 'Angestelltenlehrgang II' qualification (expected June 2027). Candidates must demonstrate gender and diversity competence. The role is open to both salaried employees (TVöD E 9b) and civil servants (A9G).
