Job Summary

As the Head of Warehouse Facility Management, you will be responsible for the technical and infrastructural operations of a large-scale logistics center in Gießen. Your daily responsibilities include leading a diverse team of facility managers, technicians, and administrative staff, while serving as the primary point of contact for external service providers. You will oversee the maintenance of building technology, ensure compliance with legal inspection requirements, and manage the facility's budget and operating costs. A key part of the role involves acting as a 'Power User' for CAFM, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS) to optimize site performance. Required Skills

Education

University degree or completed vocational training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician in Electrical Engineering, Technical Building Services (TGA), Supply Engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Approximately 7 years of professional experience in technical trades and building management
  • Extensive experience in disciplinary and functional leadership of teams
  • Proven experience in managing technical facility management service providers
  • Professional experience with legal and normative requirements for building technology and safety
  • Demonstrated experience in budget control, KPI management, and SLA fulfillment
