Job Summary

This role at the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems (IPMS) focuses on the strategic and scientific development of the 'Embodied Artificial Intelligence' field. As part of the Fraunhofer 'Attract' funding program, you will be responsible for creating a scientifically sound vision and roadmap, integrating it into the institute's portfolio, and identifying market potentials for innovative applications. Day-to-day, you will bridge the gap between high-level research and industrial application by building networks with research groups and industry partners. The position is unique because it offers a clear path toward leadership, with the long-term goal of building and leading your own research group.
