Job Summary

As the Head Responsible Electrician for the Stuttgart Fire Department, you will lead the legal and technical organization of the electrical department. Your primary responsibility involves ensuring the operational readiness and safety of all mobile electrical equipment, ranging from battery chargers to heavy-duty mobile cranes used in emergency vehicles. Day-to-day, you will provide technical supervision to all electrical specialists, manage the maintenance and testing of equipment, and collaborate closely with the procurement department for technical acquisitions. This role is unique as it places you at the heart of public safety, directly contributing to the fire and disaster protection services of a major city. You will play a critical role in occupational safety and the legal compliance of the department's electrical infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Master Electrician (Elektromeister) qualification and certification as a Responsible Electrician (VEFK).

Experience

  • Experience in testing mobile electrical equipment and operational safety
