Job Summary

As a Theoretical Physicist at FERCHAU, you will be embedded in high-tech projects focusing on the innovation of lithography lenses. Your daily responsibilities include modeling, simulating, and evaluating the physical-optical properties of complex optical systems. You will be tasked with the systematic interpretation of measurement data and the creation of component specifications, which involves negotiating with both internal and external partners. A significant portion of the role involves the continuous development of simulation and analysis software. This position is particularly attractive due to its focus on cutting-edge lithography technology and the opportunity to work within a flexible environment that supports mobile work and offers a permanent contract. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Physics (PhD preferred) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in modeling and simulation of physical-optical properties
  • Experience in the systematic evaluation of measurement data
  • Proven experience in software development using Python
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and stakeholder negotiation
  • Background in physical or technical optics is highly desirable
