Job Summary

As a Development Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a pivotal role in the verification and testing of complex embedded systems. Your daily responsibilities include developing comprehensive test strategies, deriving detailed test cases, and conducting verifications within a modern electronics laboratory. You will act as a central coordinator for test stands, ensuring they are implemented on time and within budget, while also defining series qualifications for electronic assemblies in collaboration with suppliers. Beyond testing, you will perform root cause analyses and manage partnerships with external testing laboratories. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics development and qualifying measurements on electronic assemblies
  • Experience in the verification of embedded systems at both component and system levels
  • Proven experience in handling standard laboratory measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Experience in project coordination and managing external laboratory partnerships
  • Experience in defining and implementing series qualifications for manufacturing processes
