Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer in Shipbuilding, you will play a pivotal role in managing new construction projects, ensuring they meet strict cost, schedule, and quality standards. Your daily responsibilities will include creating technical specifications, coordinating engineering efforts, and collaborating closely with Research and Development departments. You will take ownership of supplier selection and management, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from the initial build phase through to commissioning and final customer handover. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechatronic Systems, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the shipbuilding industry
- Initial experience in project management and execution
- Experience in coordinating engineering processes and supplier management
- Experience in overseeing projects from construction to commissioning
