Job Summary
As a Specialist for Control Systems & Drives, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of electrical propulsion and control systems for maritime applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems, developing and testing prototypes, and conducting system performance tests both on test benches and directly on board vessels in port or at sea. You will customize hardware and software solutions to meet specific client requirements and perform detailed performance analyses. This position is ideal for a technical expert who enjoys hands-on engineering challenges and the intersection of electrical, automation, and mechatronic systems. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a technician or a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
- Experience with electrical switchgear and frequency-controlled drive systems
- Experience with PLC programming and control system integration
- Experience in interpreting and creating technical circuit diagrams
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for project-related site visits (approximately 20%).
