Job Summary
This role involves serving as a client representative for civil engineering projects within the City Planning Office's Road Operations Department. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will manage project preparation, budget registration, and the definition of construction standards. You will be responsible for the comprehensive project control of civil engineering measures, focusing on scheduling, cost development, and quality assurance. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with internal administrative departments and external stakeholders, as well as contributing to development contracts for public transport facilities and subsidy applications. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's level) in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in Civil Engineering or Transportation, or qualification for the A 12 civil service grade in Science and Technology.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering, road construction, or structural engineering
- Proven experience in project management for large-scale, demanding construction projects
- Practical experience in client representation and administrative coordination
- Experience in applying construction and engineering contract law (VOB/HOAI)
