Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the electrical infrastructure and outdoor facilities for public buildings, including schools and daycare centers. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of building maintenance, conducting site inspections, documenting damages, and prioritizing repair measures. A significant portion of the role focuses on project management: you will draft performance specifications, manage tenders, oversee external contractors, and handle the final acceptance and billing of works. Additionally, you will lead the planning and implementation of photovoltaic systems and energy reduction initiatives. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman certificate (Meister) in Electrical Engineering or a degree as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical maintenance and building management
- Experience in the public real estate sector, specifically school and daycare construction, is preferred
- Practical experience in procurement law and handling public tenders is preferred
- Experience in planning and commissioning photovoltaic systems

- Requires German language proficiency at C1 level. The position is based in Norderstedt and involves site visits to various public buildings. Candidates must be eligible for employment under the TVöD (Public Service Wage Agreement) pay scale EG 9b.
