Job Summary
As a Technical Coordinator for Spraying Processes, you will play a pivotal role in bridging administrative oversight and technical execution within a high-tech laboratory environment. Your daily responsibilities include tracking orders, ensuring timely material deliveries, and coordinating the shipment of samples both internally and externally. On the technical side, you will support the spray booth department by monitoring project progress and performing metallographic sample preparation. You will also assist in operating Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) under guidance. Required Skills
Education
Technical training (e.g., Laboratory Technology, Materials Technology) with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or a completed degree in a related Engineering or Natural Science field.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in technical coordination or materials science
- Experience with spraying processes, specifically thermal spraying, is highly preferred
- Proven experience in order tracking and logistics coordination
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies in a technical environment
- Practical experience in metallographic sample preparation and laboratory procedures
Languages
Additional
- Business-level proficiency required in both languages; location-based role in Erlangen; requires proficiency with SAP and data visualization tools like Power BI.
