This role offers a pivotal opportunity to drive the energy transition by managing High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission projects for international clients. As part of a specialized project team, you will be responsible for the configuration, testing, and commissioning of field control devices for HVDC switchgear. Your daily activities will include performing hardware and software tests, conducting customer acceptance procedures, and troubleshooting complex systems both in German test centers and at global construction sites. You will also support commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering, or completed vocational training with further qualification as a certified Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of field control devices, specifically with SIPROTEC 5 and DIGSI 5 systems.
  • Proven experience in high-voltage and switchgear technology, including testing interlocking logics.
  • Experience in managing project schedules and monitoring progress within a specific work area.
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and supporting software engineering teams during the commissioning phase.
