Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and organizational support within the Human Resources department (Department 2 - Personnel) at the University of Osnabrück. You will be responsible for managing employee absences and sick leave notifications via SAP, handling electronic applications for international posting certificates (A1 certificates), and maintaining the department's website using TYPO3. A significant portion of the role focuses on digital transformation, including the design of digital forms and the optimization of administrative processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with IT systems and sensitive data. The role offers a high degree of flexibility with mobile work options, flexible hours, and a supportive academic environment. It is a 75% part-time position, initially fixed-term for two years, providing a secure salary under the TV-L public service collective agreement.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant for Office Management, Administrative Assistant, or completion of Administrative Course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I).
Experience
- Professional experience in office management or public administration
- Experience in handling sensitive personnel data and managing reporting deadlines
- Proven track record in using CMS tools and office software for administrative tasks
- Experience in the public service sector, specifically with an employer governed by public law
