As a Cost and Value Engineer Professional for Siemens' Project & Solution Business, you will lead complex internal projects focused on technical and economic optimization. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing sales projects for cost-saving potential, reviewing and optimizing specifications, and modeling electrotechnical solutions using 3D models and single-line diagrams. You will proactively acquire internal projects, advise on cost structures, and coordinate team-wide analysis activities to ensure high-quality, strategic outcomes. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical field of study.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in the project business environment
  • Extensive expertise in products, systems, and production processes, specifically within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure portfolio
  • Proven experience in modeling electrotechnical solutions and bottom-up cost targeting
  • Practical experience in switchgear construction, site installation, commissioning, and handover documentation
  • Experience in managing projects, time, and conducting professional workshops or project acquisitions
  • Professional experience using engineering and simulation tools
