Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position in Georgsmarienhütte involves the technical supervision and maintenance of public infrastructure within the municipal civil engineering department. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting road inspections, monitoring construction site restoration (particularly fiber optic installations), and planning small-scale civil engineering and landscaping projects. You will also manage street cleaning schedules, winter services, and the maintenance of street lighting and traffic control systems. Required Skills
Education
State-certified or state-recognized Technician in Civil Engineering (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in Fachrichtung Bautechnik/Tiefbau) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or construction technology
- Experience in applying calculation methods and techniques used by construction companies or engineering firms is desirable
- Previous experience working within a municipal administration or local government is preferred
- Experience in the use of specialized AVA (Ausschreibung, Vergabe und Abrechnung) software
- Experience in technical site supervision and documentation of public infrastructure projects
