Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Civil Engineering Department of the municipal administration in Georgsmarienhütte, focusing primarily on the technical supervision and maintenance of public infrastructure. Key responsibilities include organizing the technical inspection of traffic areas (road control), documenting and overseeing the restoration of utility company excavations (especially fiber optic installation), and preparing and implementing small-scale civil and landscape construction projects. The technician will also manage street cleaning operations, including developing cleaning schedules for summer and winter services, and handle the maintenance, conversion, and operation of street lighting and traffic control devices. Candidates must possess a qualification as a state-certified Civil Engineering Technician, fluent German skills (C2), and proficiency in standard office software and AVA software. Required Skills
Education
State-certified or state-recognized Technician in Construction Technology with a focus on Civil Engineering, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Experience in the application of calculation methods and techniques used by construction companies, surveyors, and engineering firms (desirable)
- Experience working in a municipal administration (desirable)
