Job Summary

As an Expert IT Architect for the Federal Employment Agency's IT System House, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of 'STEP', a core master data management system serving 41 million individuals and 15 million businesses. Operating within an agile environment of five Scrum teams, you will be responsible for the technical roadmap, balancing technical debt with the integration of future technologies. Your day-to-day involves developing IT strategies, designing complex technical architectures, and providing expert consultation to interface partners and stakeholders. You will also remain hands-on by participating in development tasks and coaching team members. Required Skills

Education

University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Computer Science or Business Informatics.

Experience

  • Many years of relevant professional experience in IT architecture or software development
  • Extensive experience with container-based architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven track record in technical project management and leading complex IT projects
  • Deep experience with core technologies including Java, Spring Boot, and modern web frameworks like Angular
  • Experience in developing IT strategies and managing technical roadmaps
  • Experience in agile methodologies, specifically Scrum
