Job Summary
As a Policy Advisor within the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digital Affairs, and Energy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the research landscape of Saarland through the state's Transformation Fund. Your daily responsibilities will involve the legal and substantive management of research projects, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and EU subsidy laws. You will evaluate funding applications, review complex legal documents such as MoUs and LoIs, and prepare decision-making templates for senior leadership. Additionally, you will provide critical support for supervisory boards and shareholder meetings. Required Skills
Education

- Experience in evaluating and monitoring research or innovation projects
- Experience in preparing documentation for supervisory boards or governing bodies
- Demonstrated ability to process complex legal and technical information independently
- Experience working under time pressure and managing multiple organizational priorities

- The position is initially limited to a 2-year fixed-term contract. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide proof of equivalence (ZAB assessment). Candidates must be willing to work in Saarbrücken.
