Job Summary
As a Chemist or Chemical Engineer at the St. Georg facility, you will play a vital role in the Center for Occupational, Environmental, and Health Protection. Your daily responsibilities will involve maintaining the group's hazardous substances database, creating and reviewing operating instructions, and conducting risk assessments. You will act as a specialist for occupational safety, providing expert advice to employees and managers while conducting seminars and training sessions. This position offers a high degree of responsibility in optimizing internal hazardous substance management processes and supporting fire protection officers. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable natural science discipline.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Experience in maintaining hazardous substance databases and documentation
- Experience in creating operating instructions and conducting risk assessments
- Experience in providing professional advisory services and conducting training seminars
- Background in occupational safety or willingness to undergo certification
