Job Summary
This role is based within the Center for Occupational, Environmental, and Health Protection at Asklepios, one of Germany's largest private clinic operators. As a Chemist or Chemical Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety by maintaining the group's hazardous substances database and creating essential operating instructions and risk assessments. Your day-to-day will involve consulting with staff and management on safety protocols, optimizing internal hazardous material management processes, and conducting training seminars. Additionally, you will support fire protection officers and act as an occupational safety specialist. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical documentation and interpersonal communication. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable natural science discipline. Additional qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Experience in the creation and testing of operating instructions and risk assessments
- Experience in hazardous substance database management and documentation
- Professional background as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) or willingness to qualify
