Job Summary

The municipality of Löwenberger Land is seeking a dedicated Tax Law / Tax Compliance Officer to join its finance department. This role involves providing expert advice on all tax matters, particularly concerning the new VAT regulations for public bodies. Key responsibilities include the tax assessment of contracts, preparing tax declarations and advance returns, and engaging with the tax authorities. A significant part of the role will be establishing and implementing a comprehensive Tax Compliance Management System, including risk management and tax policies, as well as integrating an internal control system for tax purposes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax or business law, demonstrate economic thinking, and work systematically and independently within a team.
