Job Summary
The Löwenberger Land municipality is seeking a dedicated Tax Law / Tax Compliance Officer to join their Finance department. This role involves providing expert advice on all tax-related matters, particularly focusing on the new VAT regulations for public bodies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the tax assessment of contracts, preparing tax returns and advance tax registrations for the municipality, and managing communication with the tax authorities. A key part of the role will be establishing and implementing a TAX Compliance Management System, including risk management and tax guidelines, as well as integrating an internal control system. This position offers a chance to work in an idyllic setting outside the city bustle, contributing to the development of a modern community, with a strong emphasis on economic principles and systematic work.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (FH, Diploma or Bachelor) in Business Law or Tax Law, OR certified Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt/in) qualification.

- Class B driving license required. The position is initially temporary with the option of continued employment. Must be based in or willing to commute to Löwenberger Land, Brandenburg, Germany.
