Job Summary

As an Onsite IT Support Technician for Munich and Southern Bavaria, you will be the primary technical contact for a leading German IT service provider. Your daily responsibilities involve performing onsite maintenance and technical support for a variety of end-user devices including PCs, laptops, and printers. You will be tasked with identifying and resolving hardware, network, and Windows-related errors, while meticulously documenting cases within ticketing systems. Beyond troubleshooting, you will handle the physical setup and decommissioning of workstations, data backups, and user profile migrations. This role is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract status, structured 40-hour work week, and the opportunity to work with a major IT service provider managing over 600,000 workstations globally. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in troubleshooting notebooks, printers, and mobile devices
  • Practical experience with Active Directory and permission management
  • Experience working with standard software and enterprise ticketing systems
  • Proven track record in user support and technical service orientation
