Job Summary

As an Onsite IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and optimization of a diverse IT system landscape for a leading German IT service provider. Your primary responsibilities include conducting hardware rollouts, supporting various IT projects, and performing both onsite and remote troubleshooting across First and Second Level Support tiers. You will be tasked with the installation and de-installation of hardware components while ensuring all support requests and assets are meticulously documented. This role is ideal for a customer-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on hardware work and software troubleshooting. The position offers an attractive package including a 40-hour work week, up to 30 days of vacation, and performance-based bonuses like holiday and Christmas pay. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in First and Second Level IT support, including telephone support
  • Practical experience in hardware rollouts and IT project support
  • Proven experience working with standard PC hardware and Microsoft environments
  • Experience in hardware assembly and maintenance
