Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive technical support for a leading European IT service provider. As an IT Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for customers at a service desk and through a ticketing system. Your daily responsibilities include configuring mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads, managing scanners, and performing IMAC-D (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete) tasks. You will also handle 'Break & Fix' activities and the commissioning of hardware including PCs, notebooks, monitors, and printers. The position is highly attractive due to its placement within a major IT firm serving DAX-listed corporations, offering flat hierarchies, modern workstations, and strong prospects for permanent employment. The role operates on a 40-hour weekly schedule in a day-shift model, though it requires flexibility for rotating on-call readiness within service hours.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a large-scale corporate customer environment
  • Proven experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance for laptops and mobile devices
  • Experience working with professional IT ticketing systems
  • Practical experience in Windows 10 and iOS environments

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license (manual transmission) is required. Must be willing to participate in rotating on-call shifts between 06:00 and 22:00. Physical resilience is required for the delivery and setup of hardware.
