Job Summary

As an IT Technician for one of Europe's leading IT service providers, you will play a critical role in hardware support and event management. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing incoming incident reports via telephone, specifically focusing on hardware, video conferencing systems, and fingerprint scanners. You will be responsible for classifying, prioritizing, and documenting these issues within a ticketing system. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, where you will provide initial solutions using internal databases and tools, or escalate complex issues to higher support levels. The position is particularly attractive due to its placement within a major European IT firm, offering flat hierarchies, modern workstations, and a clear path toward permanent employment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronic Technician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware support and troubleshooting
  • Experience in telephone-based technical support and incident documentation
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and solution databases
