Job Summary

This role involves the design, component selection, and dimensioning of complex embedded systems for an internationally active technology group in Berlin. As a Hardware Developer, you will be responsible for creating circuit diagrams that comply with EMC and industry standards, working closely with layout design, construction, and quality management teams. Your day-to-day will involve conducting commissioning, functional, and integration tests, as well as maintaining development documentation and supporting hardware type testing through to product release. You will play a key role in the entire product realization process, from prototyping new technologies to manufacturing support and product maintenance within a LEAN/PLM environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware/electronics circuit development and PCB design
  • Expert knowledge in circuit design using CAD software tools and simulation environments
  • Extensive experience in EMC-compliant design within industrial environments
  • Proven experience as a project member or sub-project lead in development and Total Cost projects
  • Experience working within international development teams
  • Practical experience with hardware-related software such as FPGA and driver programming
