Job Summary
As a Facility Engineer and Technical Building Services Expert at TÜV SÜD, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex technical systems. Operating both independently and as part of a team, your primary focus will be acting as a certified expert under building regulations to inspect ventilation, smoke extraction, and pressure ventilation systems. You will be responsible for quality control during construction phases, conducting technical measurements, and authoring expert reports. This role is highly dynamic, requiring significant field work across the Leipzig region to provide objective assessments for clients. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma or Master) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience as a certified expert (Prüfsachverständiger) for technical systems according to building regulations
- Professional experience in technical building services (TGA) planning or execution of complex projects is desirable
- Experience in conducting technical measurements and quality control
- Proven track record in independent field work and client-oriented service

- Recognition/Certification as a 'Prüfsachverständiger' (Inspection Expert) for technical systems under building law is required. Must possess a valid driver's license (Class B) and have a high willingness to travel for regional field service.
