Job Summary

As an Ecologist or Environmental Planner, you will play a vital role in environmental planning and species protection. Your daily responsibilities will involve drafting environmental expert reports, reviewing nature conservation concepts, and conducting extensive field mapping and site surveys. You will be responsible for enforcing legal requirements related to nature and species protection, as well as monitoring the implementation of mitigation measures (such as CEF measures). The role requires strong communication skills as you will coordinate with clients, authorities, and third parties, while also organizing and documenting environmental meetings. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Landscape Ecology, Landscape Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Biology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in environmental planning
  • Professional experience in conducting field work and mapping
  • Initial experience in ecological construction supervision is preferred
  • Experience in communicating with authorities and external stakeholders

German (Fluent)

  • Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to travel for field work; must have the right to work in a permanent, full-time capacity.
