As a (Senior) Data Scientist in the Advanced Analytics department, you will leverage prescriptive data modeling and cutting-edge technologies to drive strategic decision-making. Your daily responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models to identify market trends and customer potential. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from collection and analysis to the creation of interactive dashboards and the implementation of price optimization strategies. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work across central departments to integrate data-driven solutions into the company's core processes. The position offers a high degree of autonomy in an agile, innovation-driven environment where your expertise directly impacts business success. It is available as a full-time or part-time permanent role based in Teltow, providing the opportunity to shape a future-oriented field of competence while contributing to market-leading pricing and risk strategies.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, or Business Informatics; PhD is also accepted.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in an actuarial environment (Reserving, Pricing, or Risk Management) or a PhD
- Experience in the insurance industry is considered an advantage
- Proven experience in handling large datasets and pattern recognition
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or similar environments
- Professional background in developing and maintaining data-driven dashboards
