Job Summary
As a (Senior) Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the company's data architecture from on-premise systems to a modern cloud-based platform. Your daily responsibilities include designing and developing scalable cloud data platforms, implementing complex ETL/ELT processes, and building semantic data models using Snowflake or Data Vault methodologies. You will work within an ambitious agile Scrum team, collaborating closely with various business departments to ensure high-quality data products. This position is particularly attractive because it offers the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge tech stack (including AWS and Airflow) and actively shape the future data landscape of a digital-first insurance brand. The role is based in Teltow and offers a permanent, full-time contract.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a STEM-related field
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Data Engineering
- Proven experience in cloud-based data environments
- Extensive background in developing scalable data platforms
- Experience with BI tools and Cube development (SSAS, Cognos)
- Professional experience working in agile Scrum teams
