Job Summary

As a Scientist in Gene Therapy at Roche Penzberg, you will be responsible for the independent development, establishment, and validation of innovative analytical methods for AAV vectors and plasmids. Your daily activities include conducting literature research, performing experiments, and ensuring professional documentation of results. You will take ownership of routine analytical methods such as LC, CE, PCR, and ELISA to characterize plasmid and viral vector-based gene therapies. This role involves planning experimental concepts, interpreting measurement results in coordination with group leaders, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (equivalent to Master's or PhD level).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development and validation of analytical methods for AAV vectors and plasmids
  • Extensive theoretical and practical experience in biochemical and biophysical analysis
  • Proven experience with analytical methods for protein and virus characterization
  • Experience in experimental design, data interpretation, and technical documentation within a laboratory setting
  • Practical experience with LC, CE, PCR, and ELISA technologies
