Job Summary

This strategic role involves managing the lifecycle of power transformers across substations, offshore, and DC facilities. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for developing technical principles, target images, and long-term strategies for these critical assets in the context of the energy transition. Your daily work includes collaborating with procurement on framework agreements, refining maintenance strategies, and conducting risk assessments using health index tools. You will act as a technical expert supporting planning, construction, and operation phases while representing the company's interests in external committees. This position is unique for its high level of responsibility in shaping the future of high-voltage power systems and its involvement in manufacturer qualifications, including factory audits and testing. The role offers excellent work-life balance through a 37-hour work week, flexible working hours without core times, and mobile work options.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical power systems and high-voltage technology specifically related to transformers
  • Experience in developing technical principles and asset strategies
  • Experience in risk assessment and criticality analysis for industrial assets
  • Experience in committee work or representing corporate interests in technical forums
  • Experience in maintenance strategy development and operational support
