Job Summary

As a Device Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in the deployment and maintenance of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include commissioning IIoT components both remotely and on-site, performing firmware updates, and managing software rollouts. You will be the primary technical resource for diagnosing connectivity and network issues, ensuring seamless communication between gateways and platforms. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a mentor and trainer, onboarding new users to remote access platforms and educating Field Service Engineers on best practices. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on troubleshooting and process optimization. Required Skills

Education

University degree in a technical field or completed vocational training with relevant professional experience in IIoT, networking, or industrial connectivity.

Experience

  • Professional experience in configuring, connecting, and troubleshooting network and IIoT devices, preferably in industrial or production environments.
  • Proven experience using Command-Line Interfaces (CLI) on gateways, routers, switches, or IIoT controllers.
  • Experience in technical training or guiding Field Service Engineers in technical matters.
  • Experience with industrial integration scenarios and communication architectures.
