Job Summary

As a Digitalization Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of production sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing existing production and information processes to identify digitalization potential in areas such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), IoT, and paperless manufacturing. You will manage projects from initial requirement gathering through technical conception to final rollout, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT systems. Beyond project work, you will be responsible for the administration and continuous optimization of digital shopfloor tools and IoT platforms. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy a mix of strategic conceptual work and hands-on operational support directly on the shopfloor. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a completed IT vocational training with relevant further qualifications.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a production environment, specifically within digitalization, Industry 4.0, or process optimization
  • Experience in managing digitalization projects from requirements gathering to implementation
  • Experience in the administration and troubleshooting of digital production systems and shopfloor tools
  • Experience working with international departments and cross-functional teams
