Job Summary
As a Materials Tester based in Herne, you will be responsible for conducting critical non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity and quality of industrial components. Your day-to-day mission involves performing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Visual Testing (VT) procedures. The role requires a structured and goal-oriented professional who can work independently within a multi-shift system, including continuous shifts. This position is particularly attractive due to its competitive compensation starting at €22.00 per hour plus bonuses, a generous holiday allowance of up to 30 days, and the long-term prospect of permanent takeover by the client company. It offers a stable, permanent contract within a company that has over 30 years of industry experience, supported by modern digital administrative tools.
Required Skills
Education
Qualifications in MT, UT, or VT (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 are desirable; valid certifications in these NDT processes are preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in non-destructive materials testing
- Experience in MT, UT, and VT testing procedures
- Practical experience in crane operation and load slinging preferred
- Experience working in a 3-shift or continuous shift system
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift or continuous shift (Kontischicht) system is required. Possession of a driver's license and a private vehicle is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
