Job Summary
As a Materials Tester based in Essen, you will be responsible for conducting critical non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity of industrial components. Your day-to-day mission involves performing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT2), with the potential to also conduct Visual Testing (VT2). This role is essential for maintaining safety and quality standards in manufacturing or industrial environments. The ideal candidate holds valid certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9712 and is comfortable working in a structured, goal-oriented manner. This position is particularly attractive due to its competitive hourly wage starting at €22.00, shift supplements, and the long-term prospect of a permanent takeover by the client company. Required Skills
Education
Certifications in MT, UT, and VT (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 are preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in non-destructive materials testing (ZfP)
- Experience in MT2 and UT2 testing procedures required
- Experience in VT2 testing procedures preferred
- Practical experience in crane operation and slinging loads is desirable
- Proven track record of working independently in a structured industrial environment
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system or continuous shift (Kontischicht) is required. Must be able to work on-site in Essen.
