Job Summary
As an IT Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of network and security architectures for business clients. Your daily activities involve planning, implementing, and operating high-availability solutions with a strong focus on Fortinet and Lancom technologies. You will play a pivotal role in building SD-WAN and SASE architectures using BGP, integrating carrier lines, and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW). The role also includes the continuous development of Managed Security Services platforms like FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy troubleshooting complex network issues and collaborating with SOC and compliance teams to optimize security standards. The role offers a stable yet innovative environment within the 360 ITC group, providing the opportunity to work with cutting-edge communication and IT technologies in a hybrid setup based in Frankfurt am Main.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker), a university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Network and IT Security, preferably within a Managed Services environment
- Extensive experience with Fortinet products including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
- Proven expertise in Routing, Switching, BGP, and VPN/IPsec protocols
- Experience in the integration and migration of carrier lines into existing network structures
